With some hilarious and relatable jokes about fatherhood, this one-man play delivers two hours of laughs in two very different acts. The show focuses on Birbiglia's hesitant and bewildered transition into fatherhood. The first act is without kids and conjures all the originality and dreams that baby-free people couples possess. The second act finds its way into many heartwarming areas, but it also touches upon many of the dark sides of fatherhood, with our protagonist eventually surrendering to fatherhood and all its unromantic gestures.
