A gripping play about redemption, justice, and transformation after one impulsive punch leads to tragedy, prison, and an unexpected reconciliation.

What's Punch Like?

After spending more than a year in prison, Dunne connected with the victim's parents, sparking a profound transformation in himself and others.

Is Punch Good for Kids?

"Punch" is not recommended for young children due to its mature themes, strong language, and intense subject matter

The play deals with violence, grief, restorative justice, and the consequences of crime, which may be emotionally challenging for younger audiences.

Punch on Broadway Background

James Graham's play "Punch," based on Jacob Dunne's memoir "Right From Wrong," had its world premiere at Nottingham Playhouse from May 4 to May 25, 2024. The production received critical acclaim for its powerful storytelling and performances.

The success at Nottingham Playhouse led to a transfer to London's West End at the Young Vic Theatre, where it ran until April 26, 2025. The play was then set for a Broadway debut in fall 2025 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, presented by the Manhattan Theatre Club.
